Part 1: Introduction

Overview of the platform

We are happy to welcome you to our platform. Here you will find everything you need, and we are continuously working to improve the platform and add more features. We will give you all the latest information, and tell you about features you might have missed, in our newsletters.

In the meantime, we’ll tell you what we have created so far. In the main menu, there are four options. “Data sources” is where you will find your data collection methods (analytics, heatmaps & session recordings, and surveys). This is also where you create and edit each module, as well as view the results.

“Advanced tools” are our tools for more advanced analysis of your data, and we are working on adding more tools.

“Reports” is where you create and edit your automatic reports.

“Files” is where we upload information, such as analysis reports and video recordings of presentations or meetings.

Lastly, you can also find account and user settings if you click on your profile in the top right corner.

If you ever need help, we also have some support options for you. In the knowledge base, you'll find articles explaining more advance settings, troubleshooting, and we also share lots of tips to help you get the most out of our products. The digital onboarding is for the basic settings, that will help you get started. And of course, there is also the option to contact us.

The knowledge base and the digital onboarding combined should give you all the help you need, but if you are missing information, you are welcome to send an email to customersuccess@extellio.com and we will do our best to meet your need.

This has just been a quick overview of our platform, and we’ll go through the settings for the data sources, advanced tools, and automatic reports in more detail in this onboarding. With that, let’s move on to the account and data source settings.
